Application Process
To apply for the Bathurst Regional Youth Council, applicants must complete an online Application Form before the closing date.
Applicants will be assessed and Youth Council members selected based on responses provided to the application questions.
As part of the recruitment process, Council holds a Youth Council Information Session.
This session is an opportunity to learn more about what is involved in being a Youth Councillor and the skills/knowledge you will gain from the experience, as well as meeting current Youth Councillors and Council’s Community Development Team.
Young people interested in finding out more information about the Youth Council are encouraged to attend this Information Session to help determine whether the Youth Council is for you. Family members and/or friends are welcome to accompany young people to this informal session.
