Appointments at BARC Temporarily Paused

As of 18 January, appointments at BARC have been put on hold due to a confirmed case of Parvo Virus within the facility.

The BARC team is taking all possible measures to manage any risk of transmission, and an update will be provided in due course.

This occurrence stresses the importance of keeping our pets’ vaccinations up to date. We want to avoid viruses being contracted among our animals as much as possible, not only for their wellbeing and for ours as owners, but to prevent local outbreaks.

Council would like to also remind the community of the importance of microchipping and registering your pets; this ensures they can be promptly returned to you if they ever become lost.

Bathurst Region Active Transport Strategy

Council wants your ideas to shape the future of active transport in Bathurst.

Council has established an interactive map on the Bathurst YourSay site and invites members of the community to share suggestions for improving footpaths, shared paths, cycleways, and associated infrastructure for the current and future active transport network. Your suggestions will inform development of the Bathurst Region Active Transport Strategy (BRATS), the key planning document to guide the prioritisation, design and construction of the active transport network over the next decade.

Development of the Strategy is supported by a grant under the Get NSW Active Program.

To participate, please log in at: https://yoursay.bathurst.nsw.gov.au/active-transport...
