Parking

A designated accessible parking zone will be located at the John Matthews Sporting Complex carpark off Durham Street (between the Council Depot and the Bathurst Tennis Centre). The closest pedestrian entry to the event from this carpark is the Durham Street entry point.

Access Ramps

Ramps will be located near all accessible parking zones and entry to the event site.

Accessible Toilets

A unisex accessible toilet is available at the permanent toilet block located at the Adventure Playground and inside Bathurst Tennis Centre. There will also be accessible portaloos available located along the Hope Street side of the park.

Accessible Activities

• A permanent maze designed to allow wheelchairs access.
• A musical bridge for walking and wheeling over.
• An accessible flying fox with a high-backed seat and harness.
• Wheelchair accessible raised sand pit with hidden dinosaur bones.
• Live music. 

Assistance Animals

Trained, registered and visibly identified assistance animals are welcome when accompanied by their handler.

No, due to the large crowds expected animals of any type are prohibited. Assistance animals accepted.

Yes. There are access ramps located near all accessible parking zones. Please be aware that some areas of the park may be difficult to access by wheelchair.

No. The closest parent’s room can be found at Bathurst Chase Shopping Centre.

Yes. St John’s Ambulance will be on-site located on Durham Street to assist with medical emergencies.

Please ask Security, Event Staff or First Aid officers for help if you require medical attention. Please consider others as well as your own safety. If someone is in need of medical attention please let Security, Event staff or First Aid know so they can help.

Bathurst Base Hospital Emergency Department is located next to the event precinct, at 361 Howick Street, (02) 6330 5311.

In the event of an emergency, call 000 for Police, Ambulance or Fire Brigade assistance.

General public parking can be found on the streets around the event precinct as well as the public car park off Durham Street, between the Council Depot and the Bathurst Tennis Centre.

Designated accessible parking and a drop off zone can be found in this car park also.

As parking will be limited, patrons are encouraged to find alternative transport options including walking, catching public transport, or carpooling.

Food and Beverages – Most food and beverage vendors will accept Eftpos or cash, some may be cash only. Contactless transactions are preferred.

No, there are no ATM facilities at the event.

If it rains the event will go ahead unless conditions are deemed to be dangerous. If the forecast is for even the slightest possibility of rain bring good quality raincoats and suitable footwear.
