Street and Custom Event - 28 March

The 2026 Bathurst Street and Custom Motorcycle Show will be held on Saturday 28 March 2026, with temporary road closures in place from 6am to 4pm, in - 

  • Russell Street, between George and William Streets 

  • Church Street, between Parish Lane and Ribbon Gang Lane 

Traffic will be diverted around the site during this period. 

Any inconvenience is regretted. 

 

Mount Panorama - Increased Pedestrian Activity - 29 March

Council advises that there will be an increase in pedestrians walking around the Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit on Sunday 29 March for the Walk for Veterans fundraising event.

The event is expected to see 50 – 100 attendees commencing a lap of the circuit on foot, under vehicle escort in race direction. The walk is set to commence at 8.30am and expected to take 90 minutes to complete.

Residents and motorists are encouraged to exercise caution when using the Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit on Sunday morning.

Mount Panorama - Circuit Closure - 2026 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour - 1 to 6 April

The Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit will be under traffic control from 8am Wednesday 1 April 2026 for the 2026 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour.

Full circuit closure will commence 6am Friday 3 April 2026 until midnight Monday 6 April 2026, with access for accredited persons only and admission gates operating for public viewing from 8am.

2026 ANZAC Day Services - Temporary Road Closures - 25 April 2026

The 2026 ANZAC Day Service and March will be held on Saturday 25 April 2026, with temporary road closures in place within the Bathurst Central Business District, Rockley and Limekilns Road, Forest Grove as follows:

a) Russell Street between George and William Streets 4.00am to 12.00 midday

b) For the duration of the ANZAC Day March, progressive temporary closure of the following roads –

• Rankin Street between the laneway (Gallipoli Road) into the RSL Car Park and Russell Street,

• Russell Street between Rankin and William Streets,

• William Street between Russell and Church Streets,

• Church Street between William and George Streets, • George Street between Church and Russell Streets, and

• Russell Street between George and William Streets, for the termination of the March.

c) Rockley - Budden Street - 7.30am to 10.00am

d) Limekilns Road, Forest Grove - The Memorial Cairn Service 3.00pm –– speed restriction of 40km/h for the duration of the service.
