Changing Places Facility

The new public amenities block at Bicentennial Park includes improved male and female toilets, an accessible toilet/parents room, and an accessible ‘Changing Places’ Design 2.0 adult change facility that includes a toilet, shower, adult changing table, and overhead crane to meet special accessibility needs.

Additional works include two accessible parking spaces on Williams St with a connection to the Changing Places facility via a new 1500mm accessible path. For more information on Changing Places visit changingplaces.org.au

 

Transport

Bathurst is located on Wiradjuri country, approximately three hours from both Sydney and Canberra. It is accessible using both public and private transport.

Bathurst is centrally located at the intersection of the Main West Rail Line and three highways: the Great Western, Mid-Western, and Mitchell.   • Bathurst Buslines provides a fleet of fully accessible buses which service the region.
    Monday – Saturday.

  • Bathurst Community Transport offers a door-to-door service to eligible community members to get where they want to be, when they want to be there. This program runs Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays).
