Bathurst Regional Access Committee (BRAC)

BRAC

The Bathurst Regional Access Committee (BRAC) is an independent voluntary committee that advocates, educates and/or advises Council, Public Organisations and Businesses in order to achieve fair and equitable access to the built environment, goods and services for all.

The Committee is currently not operating.

BRAC's aim is to help with residents' access issues or concerns in order that everyone is able to participate in life on an equal basis as much as is feasible.

Any resident of the Bathurst Regional Council Local Government Area is able to raise relevant issues and seek the Committee’s support and advice.  A great deal of access rectification and education has been achieved by the Committee for the benefit of all.  Often it is only a lack of knowledge that leads to access difficulties.

If you have an access issue you wish to raise, please contact Council.
