Community safety campaigns conducted by Bathurst Regional Council to support our community safety.

Bathurst Community Safety Plan

The Bathurst Community Safety Plan 2023 – 2028 is Council’s fourth Community Safety Plan. The Plan was developed by the Bathurst Regional Community Safety Committee. This Plan will support the development of the Bathurst Region as a healthy, socially cohesive, and safe community.

Scams Awareness

In 2021, there were over 300 reported cases of fraud in the Bathurst Local Government Area. Council has partnered with Scamwatch for Scams Awareness to help residents protect themselves against scams

Domestic Violence

In 2024 there was 296 cases of domestic violence reported in the Bathurst region.
