Located in the heart of Bathurst, the Winners Walk, also commonly referred to as the Victors Walk, is a must-visit for fans of Australia’s most iconic motor race, the Bathurst 1000.
Positioned along Russell Street, just outside the Bathurst Regional Council Civic Centre, this commemorative walkway celebrates the champions of the legendary Bathurst 1000. Featuring a series of plaques, it honours the drivers who have etched their names into motorsport history by conquering Mount Panorama in the Great Race.
As you stroll along the Winners Walk, you can explore the decades of racing triumphs on the Mountain, with plaques dating back to the 1963 winners through to present day. Located within easy walking distance of the city centre, it’s an accessible and meaningful experience for visitors looking to connect with the rich heritage of the Bathurst 1000.
