Fly

Bathurst has a medium-sized regional airport located at the outlying suburb of Raglan, roughly 10 minutes from the Bathurst CBD. Unfortunately, Bathurst Airport does not have a permanent carrier at this time and passenger flights do not operate out of Bathurst. Therefore, flights will need to be taken to Orange Airport and arrangements made to journey to Bathurst by hire car, taxi or bus.

Orange Regional Airport is a key transport hub for the central west, providing daily passenger connections with Sydney and weekday flights between Brisbane and Melbourne.

The airport is located 15km southeast of Orange, approximately 40 minutes drive from Bathurst.

Flight times between cities:

  • Sydney – Orange: Approx. 50 minutes
  • Melbourne – Orange: Approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Brisbane – Orange: Approx. 2 hours
