Planning Controls

Development Contribution Plans

Developer contribution plans set out the framework and requirements proposed to help fund, plan and deliver infrastructure and services to meet the needs of current and future Council residents in a planned and sustainable manner.

Development Control Plans

A Development Control Plan (DCP) is a written document that supports the Local Environmental Plan (LEP) and expands its principal development standards. It is a locally adopted plan and guides council staff, developers and landowners in the requirements needed and provides guidelines for development.

Local Environmental Plans

Local environmental plans (LEPs) are the main planning tool for shaping the future of communities and ensuring local development is done appropriately.

Review of Environmental Factors

A REF is simply a document that sets out how these factors are likely to impact the environment. The purpose of a REF is to inform the Department's consideration of the likely environmental impact of the activity under Part 5 of the EP&A Act.

State Environmental Planning Policies

State Environmental Planning Policies are policies prepared by the Department of Planning and Environment dealing with land use and urban and regional development in a state-wide context.
