To acknowledge World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, Council has partnered with Relationships Australia and Chifley Police District to host an information stall at the Bathurst Armada Shopping Centre outside Blooms the Chemist on Thursday 18 June 2026 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
The theme for this year is “Beyond Awareness: Making Elder Abuse Prevention Work”.

This initiative addresses actions of the Positive Ageing Strategy 2021-2026, Bathurst Community Safety Plan 2023-2028, and Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2022-2027.
