Get ready to groove to the rhythm of summer!

Join us on Friday evenings throughout December in Kings Parade to kickstart your weekend with free live music in the park.

Purchase dinner from your favourite local takeaway or pack a picnic, grab a spot in the park and settle in for summer afternoons soaking up the best tunes Bathurst has to offer (our musicians might even throw a few Christmas carols into their sets).

Live music will commence at 5pm and conclude at 8pm.

Performance Schedule

Friday 1 December | Women of Rock

Women Of Rock are a 6-piece rock band who will take you on a journey through the past five decades with classic hit songs selected from the finest female rockers to ever grace the stage.

From the sublime tones of Ann and Nancy Wilson from HEART, the classic pop sound of PINK, to the unique rock vocals of PAT BENATAR, JOAN JETT, ALANIS MORISSETTE and MELISSA ETHERIDGE to mention only a few, Women of Rock will take you on fun musical trip down memory lane!

Friday 8 December | Ava & Audrey

Ava Giddings and Audrey Peters are two new local very young performers.

Singing a range of different genres including pop, jazz, and country. A perfect mix for easy listening including songs from Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, The Black Keys, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.

Friday 15 December | Elements of Us

Elements of Us are a rock duo who have been entertaining crowds with their easy listening and rock songs since last year. Both musicians live in Bathurst, having performed with other bands and music groups in Sydney and throughout NSW for many years. Tony plays lead guitar/vocals and Kat is lead vocalist/guitar/percussion.

Elements of Us’ repertoire includes a spread of rock songs catering to a variety of musical tastes, from artists including Cold Chisel, The Eagles, Santana, Dragon, The Doobie Brothers, to Steve Miller Band, The Church, KISS, AC/DC, Chris Isaak, Daddy Cool and The Kinks.

Friday 22 December | Ska Ramouche

Formed in early 2021, Ska-ramouche are a seven-piece band currently featuring a number of noteworthy Bathurst musicians, including Sam Bolt (vocals), Glen Wholohan (alto/tenor saxophone), Chris Dove (trumpet), Paul Hughes (trombone), Mark Bradbury (guitar), Chris Maloney (bass) and Jarrod Ronan (drums).

The band that owes a lot to the frantic nature of the ska genre, but has also evolved to take on a large gamut of rock and pop tunes where horns feature predominantly.

Accessible Toilets – public unisex toilets are available in Machattie Park.
Access ramps – permanent layback access ramps are located around Kings Parade.
Assistance animals - trained, registered and visibly identified assistance animals are welcome when accompanied by their handler.
Seating – permanent park seating will be available at the event. No additional seating and tables will be provided.
Parking – accessible parking is available on Church and Russell Street.
