Computer Coffee Club
The Computer Coffee Club is an opportunity to improve skills in digital technology. The club returns to Bathurst Library on 7 February between 2 and 4pm and meets each month. Anyone is welcome to join us for this fun and informal afternoon (with bonus afternoon tea). To book your place or for information, please phone 6333 6281.
Liberty A-League: Western Sydney Wanderers v Newcastle United Jets
Council is excited to host the Western Sydney Wanderers Women for a home game of the Liberty A-League.
The Wanderers will take on the Newcastle United Jets in a Round 16 clash at Carrington Park.

Museum Selfie Day
Snap a Selfie at your favourite museum in Bathurst on Museum Selfie Day on Wednesday, 17 January. There will be free entry to the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum, Bathurst Rail Museum, Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, Chifley Home, National Motor Racing Museum, Bathurst Historical Society. This year Miss Traill's House and Garden is included in the list of free museums to visit on Selfie Day.
People are encouraged to visit all museums on the day and post their selfies with the hashtag #MuseumSelfieBathurst on Facebook and/or Instagram.
Bathurst Winter Festival Information Session
An information session for local businesses will be held on Tuesday, 23 January from 6pm – 7pm at the Bathurst Rail Museum. The session will provide information on event insights, guidance, tools, and logistical support and advice. It will also equip businesses to develop their festival-themed initiatives and opportunities.

Bathurst Regional Art Gallery
Conflated
Date: Until 11 February.
Cost: Free
Conflated presents a range of inflatable materials, from balloons to digital audio and video informed by inflatable processes. Positioning the inflatable as the medium of our times, the exhibition prompts us to explore the inherent plasticity and transformative potential of that which can be blown up. The works conflate synthetic forms with human vulnerabilities, the abject, uncanny, eco-anxiety, colonised land, and the breath.
School Holidays: Balloons, Bubbles, Elastics

This school holiday session includes a short tour of the current exhibition Conflated followed by a fun hands-on workshop with Justin Buchta.

Annual Funding/Donations Program
Council is seeking expressions of interest from community organisations and individuals seeking funding from Council to be included in the 2024/2025 budget. Funding is available for the period from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. To apply, submit an application form which is available on Council’s website or from the Civic Centre by 4pm on Tuesday, 6 February 2024.
Organisations/groups who have received funding previously should re-apply if they wish to be considered for further funding. For more information, contact Council on 6333 6257 or visit Council’s website.
Welcome lunch
