Stage One of The Reserve Windradyne Surpasses 50% Sold

Land sales for Stage 1 of The Reserve, Windradyne have passed the 50% mark with Council having now secured 50 lots sold.  

Construction has already commenced for multiple homes, along with a brand-new childcare centre nearing completion onsite.  

Bathurst Mayor Cr Robert Taylor remarked this milestone is a positive achievement for Council, not only to assist cash flow constraints but also as a reflection of the growing inclination to relocate to the Bathurst Region. 

“It is terrific to have 50 lots sold at The Reserve. These sales have been achieved through a combination of Council’s Property Team, our local Ray White branch as well as Wilton Property from Sydney. It is encouraging to see a recent surge in land sales; this acts as a helpful support to Council’s finances. 

“The most sought after land sizes have been mixed, however buyers have increasingly been leaning towards the smaller, sub 600m2, lots. Along with substantial interest in the lots on Mulholland Parkway with its excellent views. 

“It has additionally been wonderful to see interest piquing beyond the Central West region. Multiple buyers have been from outside our 2795 postcode, with a large number purchasing land and planning a move from major cities like Sydney. This is a brilliant reflection of the fantastic lifestyle offerings and employment opportunities we have here in town, driving desire to live in the Bathurst Region. 

“With 36 available lots remaining in this first release, Council continues to receive strong interest from multiple parties for the land, with a diverse range of lot sizes requested,” said Mayor Taylor.  

With Stage 1 of the subdivision now over the halfway mark, Council will commence plans for the release of Stage 2. Notification of this release will be made in due time.
