Bathurst will be celebrating the 2025 Seniors Festival from Monday 3 to Sunday 16 March with over 75 events and activities on offer for seniors across the city.

The theme for 2025 is "time to shine".

With a diverse range of experiences and activities on offer, the festival aims to inspire seniors to be active, socialise, and share their skills and ideas, all while connecting with others in the community.

Mayor Cr Robert Taylor noted this event provides a great opportunity for all generations to join with older people to celebrate.

“NSW Seniors Festival is held annually and celebrates the valuable contributions seniors make to our community. Here in Bathurst, it is our way of saying thank you; with over 70 events scheduled across the festival, seniors, and all generations, are encouraged to get involved and try something new,” said Mayor Taylor.

An information stall will be at Trinity Heights Shopping Centre on Friday 14 February from 9am-1pm. Printed programs will be available to collect, and staff will be onsite to answer questions.

A digital version of the Seniors Festival program can be found on Council’s website, here: https://www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au/Services/Supporting-Our-Community/Older-People/Seniors-Festival, and hardcopies are additionally available at the Ground Floor of the Civic Centre.
