Clean Up Aus Day 26

Get involved in Clean Up Australia Day this March and make a difference around our Bathurst community.

Mayor Cr Robert Taylor commented on the community spirit of Clean Up Australia Day and the multiple opportunities across the region to join or host your own clean up event.

“Taking part in a community clean up on Clean Up Australia Day is a fun, easy and meaningful way to connect with your community while helping protect and care for our environment.

“There are many ways to get involved this year. You can register to host your own event or join an existing clean up around Bathurst via the Clean Up Australia Day website, or, why not take part in Council’s Community Clean Up! It’s a great way to meet like-minded people and play your part in bettering our region. On Sunday 1 March, head to Bicentennial Park to get some fresh air, meet fellow community members and make a positive impact on the environment. Plus, a free BBQ lunch will be provided for participants!” said Mayor Taylor.
