Council is introducing a new traffic plan at the Bathurst Waste Management Centre to optimise the experience for all users.
Mayor Cr Robert Taylor noted that the upcoming changes at the Bathurst Waste Management Centre are designed to improve safety and ensure smoother traffic flow throughout the site.
“Council will be introducing a new one-way traffic system within the Waste Management Centre. Under this new arrangement, customers entering the Transfer Station will be required to follow a single-direction traffic route. These changes aim to support a safer and more consistent traffic pattern for all users.
“Works to complete essential line marking and prepare the centre for the new traffic system will take place in early March, subject to weather. These works will temporarily impact access to the Transfer Station, however measures will be in place for disposal of rubbish while they occur,” said Mayor Taylor.
Updates on the works at the Bathurst Waste Management Centre will be provided through Council’s Facebook page. Additionally, all the details can be found on Council’s website: https://www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au/Services/Waste-Recycling/Waste-Management-Centre
