Are you hoping to welcome a furry friend into your family this Easter? Hop on over to BARC’s Easter Adoption Drive on Thursday 9 April and meet the cats and dogs waiting to find their forever homes.

Bathurst Mayor, Cr Robert Taylor, highlighted the joy that comes from adopting a companion animal and the meaningful act of giving a surrendered pet a second chance at a safe, loving life.

“BARC is celebrating the season of new beginnings with a special Easter Adoption Drive, proudly held at Petstock Bathurst on Thursday 9 April, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet pets of all personalities and find the perfect match for your family.

“This rewarding community event invites our Bathurst community to meet some of BARC’s beautiful cats and dogs who are searching for their forever homes. Whether you’re ready to adopt or just want to learn more about the animals in care, everyone is welcome to come along and share the Easter joy. Our dedicated BARC team members will be on hand to answer any questions, share each cat and dog’s story, and help to match families with the right companion,” said Mayor Taylor.
