Repco Bathurst 1000 Race Week

Twenty years on from his passing, Peter Brock remains one of the defining figures in Australian motorsport.

The Brock Experience celebrates the extraordinary life and racing career of the nine-time Bathurst winner, bringing together the cars, images and defining moments that made Brock an Australian sporting icon.

Across two unique experiences at the Repco Bathurst 1000, fans can journey through the different eras of Brock’s career before experiencing an immersive tribute to the man behind the legend.

BROCKY'S HELMET
When: Monday 5 - Monday 12 October

A powerful celebration of the life behind the legend.

At the heart of The Brock Experience, Brocky's Helmet combines an immersive audio-visual presentation of Brock’s extraordinary life and career with two of his most iconic cars.

Surrounded by vision, imagery and sound, fans will experience the moments and memories that shaped Brock’s story, while getting up close to two very special cars rarely seen in public.

Together, they create a fitting and emotional tribute to one of Australian motorsport’s greatest figures.

PETER'S PIT LANE
When: Thursday 8 - Sunday 11 October
Where: National Motor Racing Museum

Experience Peter Brock’s remarkable racing career through the cars that defined it.

Peter’s Pit Lane brings together a collection of iconic cars representing the different eras of Brock’s career, from his first Bathurst appearance in 1969 through to his final years behind the wheel.

Set against historic imagery and stories from each period, fans can follow the evolution of Brock’s career and revisit the victories, partnerships, rivalries and defining moments that made him the King of the Mountain.

It’s the story of Peter Brock, told through the cars he drove.

Peter's Pit Lane will be located at the National Motor Racing Museum and is included free to Repco Bathurst 1000 ticketholders.

The 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 will rev up with Fan-Fest Tuesday powered by Repco, a free, family event on Tuesday 6^th October from 3pm – 8pm in Kings Parade.

The event will be packed with entertainment for fans of all ages, including:

• Airtime Freestyle Motorcross shows
• Massive giveaways, including the iconic meat tray raffles on the Repco stage
• Food trucks and twilight markets
• Driver signings
• Free sausage sizzle for the first 1,000 people and $2 ice-creams, thanks to Repco
• Loads of family entertainment and activities

Whether you're a die-hard Supercars fan or just here for the ride, Fan-Fest Tuesday is your ultimate pit stop to fuel up on fun before the main event roars into town.

The Repco Bathurst 1000 Street Party is back!

On Wednesday, things really shift into gear with the Street Party, headlined by the Supercars Track to Town convoy, an all-driver signing session, the PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge finals and heaps more!

When the Great Race finishes, the Race Week festivities continue.

Lap 162: The Great Race Cool Down will bring a live concert to the heart of Bathurst on Monday 12 October, giving visiting race fans one more reason to stay, relax and enjoy the city before heading home.

Taking place in the Kings Parade Precinct, in front of the historic Bathurst Court House, the afternoon and evening concert will feature headline acts alongside local support acts.

• Set Fire To This Town (Cold Chisel/Jimmy Barnes Tribute)

With the Repco Bathurst 1000 behind you, grab lunch at one of Bathurst’s pubs or cafés, explore the CBD and then head to Kings Parade for an afternoon and evening of live entertainment.

This is an all ages, alcohol-free event.

Getting There: Regular Route 528 bus services will continue to operate on Monday 12 October, providing transport between Mount Panorama and Bathurst CBD. Additional services are also being explored, with further details to be provided closer to the event.

Can’t print it? No worries! You can pick up a printed version of the Colouring In Competition from the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre or from any of the businesses participating in the Window Display Competition from Wednesday 30 September. A list of businesses participating in the Window Display Competition will be made available soon.

Entries must be emailed to Bathurst Regional Council Events or delivered to the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre by Sunday 11 October to be in the running.

Winners will be notified by Friday 16 October.

Local businesses are invited to celebrate the 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 Race Week by decorating their shop fronts for the 'Turbocharge Your Business' Window Display Competition. It's the perfect opportunity to draw the attention of visitors and join in the fun during Race Week.

Local businesses are invited to be part of the on-stage giveaways at this year’s Fan-Fest Tuesday powered by Repco, the high-energy event during the Repco Bathurst 1000 Race Week in Kings Parade.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your brand in front of a large crowd of locals and race fans. If your business has an item you'd like to contribute to the giveaways, big or small, we'd love to hear from you!

With the Repco Bathurst 1000 Off Track Events bringing thousands of race fans into the Bathurst CBD local businesses are invited to extend their trading hours and make the most of the increased foot traffic. It is expected to be particularly busy on Tuesday 6, Wednesday 7 and Monday 12 October.

Whether you're a retailer, cafe, restaurant, bar or other local business, late night trading is a great opportunity to welcome Race Week visitors and showcase what Bathurst has to offer.

Planning to trade later? Let the Council’s Events Team know your extended trading hours so your business can be included in Race Week advertising and help visitors know where to shop, dine and explore.

Bathurst Buslines will be operating an extensive network of buses to cater for the patrons attending the Repco Bathurst 1000.

Services will operate from most areas of Bathurst as well as Orange and Lithgow to Mount Panorama Racing Circuit.
