The Show regularly attracts 30,000 people and injects around $3million dollars into our local economy. It was important to be able to provide support to ensure the show and all of the scheduled activities in the arena could proceed as planned.
Works are progressing on the upgrade of the bus stop outside the Armada Bathurst shopping centre on Howick Street .
The works include the removal of the existing bus shelter and installing a new structure with upgraded seating, signage and roofing.
A temporary bus stop has been set up on Bentinck Street, near the corner of Howick Street for the duration of the works.
It is anticipated the Howick Street bus stop will be closed until 19 May while the existing bus shelter is upgraded.
It was my pleasure to help judge the winners of this year’s Waste 2 Art exhibition. The exhibition opens tomorrow at BMEC with the awards ceremony.
Bathurst’s 2025 Waste 2 Art theme was 'The Year of the Toys,' challenging participants to turn their used toys into artistic creations. Make sure you visit the exhibition and see the creativity that has gone into this year’s entries.
The exhibition will be open 10 May - 14 May 2025 between 10am - 3pm
