Witt med imageBathurst Library presents an evening with

Carolinda Witt

Carolinda will be discussing her book

Double Agent Celery

Tuesday 5th February

6:15pm start

Imagine Carolinda Witt’s surprise when she discovered her grandfather was Walter Dicketts, MI5’s double agent ‘Celery’ who volunteered to infiltrate the German Secret

Service in order to uncover crucial secrets about the Nazi’s plans to invade Britain. It was a miracle he survived to tell the tale.

Dicketts married four times and kept two mistresses, and it took Carolinda seven years to track down and uncover most of her grandfather’s incredible secrets. In the process, she rewrote history and reunited a family spread across the world, all of whom knew nothing about the existence of each other.
