Garage Sale Trail

Garage Sale Trail

The annual Garage Sale Trail is back!
Bathurst Regional Council has again partnered with the Garage Sale Trail to bring Australia’s biggest celebration of second hand back to the Bathurst Region this November.
This year’s event is being held over two consecutive weekends, 13-14 and 20-21 November, with more money making, more waste reducing and more treasure hunting fun than ever!
Happening online and in communities across Australia, the Garage Sale Trail is a nationwide held event allowing residents, shop owners, schools, charities and community groups the opportunity to host a physical garage sale at their venue or a virtual garage sale online.
What to be a seller?

It’s free and anyone can do it, whether you’re a household, community group, a whole street, school or even a local business. The Garage Sale Trail team provide all the tips, support and promotional materials you need to sell big and advertise what is on offer, including:
  • Step-by-step how to support.
  • Your own sale listing or webpage searchable on the Garage Sale Trail national sales map.
  • A covid-safe garage sale pack with a checklist, social distancing markers and signage.
  • Easy to use PayPal QR codes to accept touch-free payments.
Want to learn?

Attend the Trail Tutorials held as part of the Garage Sale Trail this year. Happening on 6 & 7 November, it’s one big weekend of online masterclasses dedicated to fashion, flipping and fixing the planet, with this year’s program featuring experts from the world of fashion, styling, finance and sustainability.
Sessions are free to attend and hosted online via Zoom.
