The Sustainable Living Expo is on again!
The Sustainable Living Expo is coordinated by Council to provide information and activities to help residents and visitors to Bathurst to be more sustainable, covering topics such as waste and recycling, willdlife and native vegetation, renewable energy and much more. In 2019 there will be a great lineup of workshops covering DIY cleaning products and a range of sewing and upcycling workshops including how to make your own reusable produce bags. This year the Expo will feature Craig Reucassel from the ABC's War on Waste. Craig will dazzle you with his knowledge on waste and entertain you with stories and lessons learnt whilst filming the series.
Shoalhaven Zoo to You will be back with their Australian wildlife show and all the favourites are coming with them. This is your chance to meet a wombat, koala and whole variety of lizards and snakes. Learn about the wildlife you might find in your backyard whilst getting the rare chance to see up close those shy creatures we usually only see from a distance.
The Radical Recyclers will also be wandering around the Expo ready to answer all your questions about recycling. These entertaining characters will also be performing on the day so keep an eye out for the schedule which will be included here shortly.
The Expo also features a variety of stalls by local businesses and environmental groups and is held in conjunction with the Bathurst Farmers Markets. The Expo will be held on Saturday 23 March 2019 from 8am to the special time of 12.30pm at the Bathurst Showground and entry is via a gold coin donation to gain access to both the Expo and Farmers Markets.
PLEASE NOTE STALLHOLDER APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

The Sustainable Living Expo continues to grow after a great event in 2018. Last year the Sustainable Living Expo featured Sticks and Wombat from the Block who talked about their experience on The Block as well as the things you can do to your existing house or new build or renovation to make it more comfortable and cheaper to live in.
