Changes to Opening Hours and Days for Council Museums

With the opening of the Bathurst Rail Museum the following changes to museum opening hours and days will come into effect on Saturday 22 February 2020.

National Motor Racing Museum
Open: 6 days per week
Hours: 9.00 am – 4.30 pm
Closed: Tuesday

Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum
Open: 6 days per week
Hours: 9.00 am – 4.30 pm
Closed: Wednesday

Chifley Home and Education Centre
Open: 6 days per week
Tours: 11.30 am and 1.00 pm
Closed: Thursday

Bathurst Rail Museum
Open: 6 days per week
Hours: 9.00 am – 4.30 pm
Closed: Thursday

All museums will be open 7 days a week during NSW school holiday periods.

Heritage Trades, Services & Supplies Directory

 

Council has updated its Heritage Trades List which includes over 300 heritage contacts for local heritage trades within the Bathurst region.

The updated directory has been expanded to include the following:

  • Summary of heritage services offered by Bathurst Regional Council,
  • Contacts within the Bathurst Region: A brief summary and contact details for heritage related information sources available within the region,
  • Heritage Organisations and websites within NSW and Australia: A brief summary and contact details for heritage related information available within NSW and Australia,
  • Directory - Trades, Services & Supplies: A list of trades people, services and supplies, or those who can provide trades, services and supplies, within the region.
