Bathurst NRL game day line-up announced

What: Bathurst NRL game day line-up announcement

Where: Carrington Park

When: 11am, Thursday 9 March

The Penrith Panthers will take on the Canberra Raiders at Bathurst’s Carrington Park on Saturday 10 June and tickets for game day go on sale tomorrow, Thursday 9 March.

Mayor of Bathurst Cr Graeme Hanger OAM said the line-up for game day has now been finalised and two local teams will take to the field prior to the main game.

“The Bathurst Panthers will take on the Orange Hawks at 2.30pm. The match will create plenty of interest locally, and set the scene for a hard fought game between the Panthers and Raiders at 5.30pm.

“Last year’s game between the Panthers and Raiders came down to the wire and I’m sure the re-match at Carrington Park this year will be a closely fought tussle between these two teams.”

“Both teams have a large following in the region and adding a local clash prior to the main game is sure to bring a large crowd to game day.

“Council has invested in a number of upgrades at Carrington Park since last year’s NRL fixture, including the installation of new lighting, a new amenities block, a new LED display screen and a new on ground PA system.

“Council’s ongoing investment in improving facilities will ensure the long term success of our relationship with Penrith Panthers,” Cr Hanger said.
