BizMonth

BizMonth is an initiative organised by Council held during September, which highlights the importance and diversity of local businesses.

Bathurst has a thriving business community that continues to grow and provides a valuable contribution to the region’s economy. Council takes a proactive role in the continued economic development of the region and continuing investment in economic programs such as the Jobs Expo and the Smart Cities Program that grow and support local businesses.

Throughout September, a series of events will be held for businesses and members of the community to gain new insights, ideas and connections.
One of the highlights of the program is the BizMonth Business Lunch with Ita Buttrose as this year’s keynote speaker.

An accomplished communicator with a wealth of experience across a broad range of industry sectors, Ita works behind-the-scenes and in the public eye for major corporates, small business, governments and charities. The lunch offers business owners and representatives cross-industry networking and referral opportunities. The lunch is part of Council’s broader BizMonth campaign, which is a month dedicated to celebrating local businesses. Tickets are $70 and available at www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au

BizMonth is a partnership between Bathurst Regional Council, Bathurst Business Chamber, Western Advocate, Central NSW Business HQ, Bathurst City Life, Rotary Club, CenWest Innovate and 99.3 B-Rock FM.
