National Reconciliation Week 2023
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is held annually from 27 May - 3 June.
NRW is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
BE A VOICE FOR GENERATIONS
To celebrate National Reconciliation Week 2023, Council will host a Guest Speaker Panel on Wednesday 31 May 2023 from 5:00pm - 6:30pm at the Kelso Community Hub (24 Bonnor Street, Kelso).
Jaydon Crawford and Xander Sharpley (representing the Bathurst Junior Aboriginal Education Consultative Group) will MC the event and interview the panel members.
The panel members will include local guest speakers nominated by various groups/organisations. The panel will discuss the 2023 National Reconciliation Week theme, 'Be a Voice for Generations'.
There will not be an opportunity for live question and answers from the audience.
A light dinner will be served at the conclusion of the event.
