Love Your Leftovers Recipe Book
‘Love Your Leftovers’ is an exciting initiative being undertaken by NetWaste Councils Bathurst, Blayney, Cabonne, Orange, Forbes and Parkes, to help tackle the food waste crisis.
The aim is to create a ‘Love Your Leftovers’ online recipe book that is inspired by the community for the community.
Food waste is a global issue with local solutions.
Together, the Councils are calling on individuals, local schools, community groups and businesses to get involved by sharing their favourite leftovers-inspired recipes, plus any tips and ideas about practical ways to reduce food waste.
Once completed, the online recipe book will be free to download from Council’s website and will be a valuable tool in helping residents to find inspiration and ideas to reduce food waste and transform leftovers into nutritious, delicious dishes.
How can I contribute?
If you have a great recipe idea you would be willing to share, or even some practical ideas on reducing food waste, we would love to hear from you!
You can complete and submit your recipe or idea for reducing food waste by ONE of the following ways:
• Submit your recipe or food waste reduction idea by completing our Google Form: https://forms.gle/c6tpeKBFfiGbMCcc8 or scan the code below to get to the form faster.
Recipe submissions should focus on using up pantry staples and leftovers.
