Bathurst Regional Council live streams its public meetings to the web. Meetings can be viewed from anywhere via a web browser, on an internet-connected device. The Council also archives these live streams for a maximum period of 12 months, for viewing at any time. Both the live stream and archived versions of Council meetings may be found on Council’s You Tube channel, at this link. The public forum prior to each Council meeting will not be live streamed or recorded.
Council has a policy governing the webcasting of its meetings, which is accessible via its Policy Manual. There is also reference to webcasting in Council’s Code of Meeting Practice. Council retains copyright for the recordings of the meetings, which may not be altered, reproduced or republished without the explicit permission of the Council.
