Proclamation Day

Proclamation Day acknowledges the anniversary of the first proclamation of Bathurst by Governer Lachlan Macquarie in 1815.

The day consists of an Official Proclamation Ceremony recognising past and present members of Bathurst who have contriibuted to shaping the town. 

On Proclamation Day, the community is invited to explore the rich history of Bathurst, with a self-guided tour of The Delightful Spots Trail.

More information will be provided closer to the 2023 event date.
