Offering regular passenger flights to Sydney

Bathurst Airport is the nearest airport west of Sydney, located a short 10-minute drive from the Bathurst CBD at PJ Moodie Drive, Raglan.

The airport is owned and operated by Bathurst Regional Council and welcomes a wide range of aircrafts. The airport is serviced by Regional Express (REX) who provide regular passenger services between Bathurst and Sydney, transporting around 20,000 passengers each year (pre-COVID). Flight time is just 40 minutes.

A bit about Bathurst

Home to around 45,000 people, Bathurst is considered one of the fastest growing regions in New South Wales. Bathurst is a major hub in the Central West, connecting the Great Western Highway with the Mid-Western Highway and situated less than 50 minutes from Orange and Lithgow.

The city is well-connected to Sydney, with a drive-time of just 2.5 hours. Bathurst is also served by a daily Bathurst to Sydney and return express commuter rail services, getting you to the Sydney CBD in just 3.5 hours.
