Council Services Re-opening

Council's reopening schedule

Council will undertake  a staged reopening of our facilities from Thursday 14 October, starting with the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre.  The Civic Centre, Library, Art Gallery, BMEC and Museums will begin to open their doors from Monday 18 October.

Council is still providing services to the community via phone and email from these facilities.

Visitors to Council's buildings will be required to QR code in, show proof of vaccination and wear a face mask in indoor settings.  A concierge service will be in place at the entry to our buildings to ensure entry conditions are being met.  If you are unable to meet the entry requirements we will be able to assist you via phone or email.

Chifley Home & Education Centre: Remains closed. Enquiries via phone 6333 6543

Kelso Community Hub: Taking bookings from third parties from 18 October. Enquiries via phone 6333 6523

Small Animal Pound: Ring to enquire regarding pet adoptions. Rangers will continue to respond to urgent animal control issues. Phone 6333 6111

Bathurst Children’s Services: Open with appropriate measures in place. Enquiries via phone 6333 6560

Aerodrome: Open with services provided by Regional Express Airlines according to their current schedule

Waste Management Centre: Open 

Kerbside Collection: Continues as usual

Chifley Dam:  Open

Parks/playgrounds/public toilets: Open
