On Line Reg MedBecome a temporary eMember!

Not a member of Bathurst Library? Due to COVID-19, residents in the Bathurst region can now become temporary eMembers for three months.Temporary eMembers will have access to our extensive online collections, including our:

• eLibrary apps (thousands of free online eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines)
• Kanopy film streaming (over 30,000 free films, documentaries and training videos)
• eResearch resources (such as Encyclopedia Britannica and the History Reference Centre)
• kids online (includes Story Box Library, online learning games, coding and more).
It’s easy, simply click on this link to sign up online.

Note: You will automatically be issued with a temporary borrower ID.

This does not give you access as an eMember. We will process your registration and email you an eMember number and password the next working day that gives you full access to our eResources.
Your temporary eMembership will expire after 3 months. To convert this to a permanent membership, simply come into Bathurst Library when we reopen to complete your registration (please bring proof of your residential address, such as a driver’s licence).

Permanent membership will give you full lending rights to all our physical and online resources.

If circumstances change and the library remains closed we will look at extending the length of the temporary membership.
