The Macquarie River Bicentennial Park was established as part of Bathurst's 1988 Bicentennial Celebrations. The park lies adjacent to the Macquarie River at the lower end of William Street.
The park includes a children's playground area, peace garden, remembrance walls and the Ohkuma Japanese Garden. The Japanese Garden is an ideal site for weddings. To book a wedding download the application form here.
