The Kelso Community Hub (KCH) aims to increase community access to specialised health, education, information and recreational services.
Community members can access a wide range of free programs and services available at the KCH including a weekly playgroup, health clinics, Women's Group and youth programs. There is also a computer available for use, with internet access.
The KCH features a range of outdoor facilities, including a newly refurbished outdoor recreational area. The KCH also features a sporting field and basketball court. Sporting equipment can be borrowed from the KCH during opening hours.
Staff at Kelso Community Hub can assist with providing information about various support agencies, including housing, medical and education services.
The KCH's hall, kitchen, multi-purpose room and two consultation rooms are available for hire at very reasonable rates. Kelso Community Hub is located at 24 Bonnor Street.
In light of NSW Government announcements on easing restrictions, the Kelso Community Hub reopened from Tuesday 16 June 2020.
Under the first stage of reopening, Kelso Community Hub hours of operation are:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am to 4:45pm
As at Monday 22 June 2020, the following services only are operating from KCH. These services will operate in accordance with appropriate social distancing requirements.
- Child and Family Health Clinic – Wednesday 9am to 12pm
- Sexual Health Clinic – Thursday (Fortnightly) 9am to 2pm
- NSP Clinic – Monday (Fortnightly) 1pm to 3pm
- Mission Australia TPCE Program – (Weekly) 10am-1pm
