On 8 March each year, International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated around the world. International Women’s Day celebrates women’s achievements and the contribution they make to their community.

The international theme for 2023 is #EmbraceEquity to promote access to the same resources and opportunities, recognising individual circumstances to assist all to reach an equal outcome.

We can all embrace equity: to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create and inclusive world.

An International Women's Day Event will be held on Wednesday 8 March 2023 from 11am - 2pm at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre.
