Waste Collection Days are changing for selected households in Raglan, Havannah St, Cedar Drive & Cherrywood Crescent and Laffing Waters
From Monday 19 July 2021, the waste collection day for selected households will change, these changes will allow waste collection staff to continue to service the growing population of Bathurst in a timely fashion. By distributing waste collection days more equitably waste collection services can contibue to improve. This change will affect 1,250 properties out of about 18,250 properties and these types of changes occur about every 5 years on average.
The affected households have been sent a letter from Council outlining these changes however the changes are also listed below;

Council thanks affected residents for their assistance with making these important changes and requests that residents please place their bins out on the kerbside the night before the new collection day to ensure bins are collected.
Please note if you have not received a letter or live in the areas listed above there will be no change to your collection day. Your general waste and food and garden waste bin will continue to be collected weekly and your recycling bin will be collected fortnightly as per the current arrangement.
