Free Public WiFi

From 21 January - 29 March 2019 Bathurst Regional Council will test a Free Public WiFi service across a number of central business district and recreation areas.
The areas covered by the Free WiFi program are identified in the map below.
We invite you to test this service and let us know your feedback on our Your Say page.
Through the Free Public WiFi service Council aims to make it easier for visitors and residents to find out more about what's on, when and where in our region an dhow to access local facilities and services.
The full Free Public WiFi service will go live on 30 March 2019.
Please note: large buildings and tall structures may impact on the strengh of the WiFi signal resulting in some blackspots with the CBD area.
In establishing a free WiFi network, Council has developed a policy to govern the use of the Wi-Fi system. Council has adopted the Public Wi-Fi Acceptable Use Policy. Download WiFi Policy here. Download Privacy Policy here.
