PLANNING PROPOSAL – Schedule 5 Environmental Heritage
Council previously exhibited the Planning Proposal to update Schedule 5 Environmental Heritage of Bathurst Regional Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2014 between 12 September 2016 and 4 October 2016.
Based on the submissions Council received as part of that exhibition period, it is intended to amend the proposed heritage listing boundaries for the following sites:
- Wallaby Rocks – 557 Hill End Road, Sofala
- Agricultural Research Station
The remaining items as previously exhibited remain unchanged.
Council is re-exhibiting the amended Planning Proposal for a period of 28 days from 21 November 2016 until 19 December 2016. Copies of the full Planning Proposal documentation and maps that Council provided to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment and the Department’s authorisation to proceed with public exhibition are available on the Department of Planning and Environment’s LEP tracking website.

Alternatively, you can inspect the Planning Proposal documentation at Council’s Environmental, Planning & Building Services Department, Bathurst Civic Centre, between 8:30 am and 4:45 pm Monday to Friday (public holidays excepted).
Council invites written submissions with respect to the Planning Proposal. Any submission needs to be lodged with Council by 4.00 pm on 19 December 2016 and must include your name and address.
Any submission that you make on this proposal may be included without alteration (including names and addresses) in reports that are available to the public in the Council business papers.
Council will consider all submissions made to it, but to influence the Council’s decision, any submission you make must be relevant and well founded.
