What is an Outstanding Notice Certificate?
An Outstanding Notice Certificate outlines whether any outstanding notices or orders have been issued by Council in respect of land within the Council's area.
An outstanding notice or order can be for a number of things including, an overgrown block, incomplete developments or perhaps illegal building works.
There are two different types of Outstanding Notice Certificates being:
- Section 735A Certificate – issued under Section 735A of the Local Government Act 1993.
- Section 121ZP Certificate – issued under Section 121ZP of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
How long does it take?
Outstanding Notice Certificates are normally ready for collection or post within seven working days after receipt of the application.
Who can apply?
Any person can apply to Council for an Outstanding Notice Certificate in respect of any land within the Council area.
How do I apply?
You can apply for an Outstanding Notices Certificate by completing the application form or collecting the form from Council's Environmental, Planning & Building Services Counter.
