Australia Day Celebrations 2021

Fun Fair
From Saturday 23 January - Tuesday 26 January 2021 enjoy the Fun Fair Summer Splash at the Bathurst Showground.
With two time slots daily, 11:00am - 3:00pm and 4:30pm - 8:30pm.
Tickets will be on sale at $5 per person or purchase a $30 arm band for unlimited rides in the designated time slot. 
You can enjoy Fireworks on Saturday 23 January and Tuesday 26 January at 8.30pm. 
For anyone not attending the event who would like to watch the fireworks, we're encouraging you to do so from the safety of your home or car and not to form large groups in parks.
Please be aware that fireworks can sometimes frighten animals/pets. Be prepared and keep pets inside if possible.
This is a COVID Safe Event and the organisers have a COVID Safe plan in place.

Tuesday 26th January 2021
Enjoy free entry to the Manning Aquatic Centre from 11am until 5:30pm on Australia Day, with a limited capacity of 500 people.
The Australia Day Awards Ceremony will be held at BMEC at 12 noon.
At 8:30pm enjoy a stunning Australia Day fireworks display over Bathurst.

Australia Day Achievement Medallion Program
The Australia Day Achievement Medallion Program is open to members of the public who work in the Public Service.
Recipients will be presented with a certificate and medallion on Australia Day 26 January at the Australia Day Awards Ceremony.
Nominations have now closed.

The Australia Day celebrations in Bathurst will adhere to current NSW Health guidelines and all events and activities will be conducted in a COVID Safe manner. We ask that when participating in activities, people maintain social distancing and do not attend any activity if feeling unwell or experiencing flue like symptoms.
