One Hundred Lives of Bathurst Cemetery

Council has completed a project that celebrates the lives of 100 persons buried at the Bathurst Cemetery.  A copy of the booklet can be purchased from the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre.

100 Lives of the Bathurst Region

Council has completed a project celebrating the lives of 100 persons buried in cemeteries in the Bathurst Region (excluding the Bathurst Cemetery).

The booklet includes two self driving tours of the 20 cemeteries in the region.  For each locality, a history of the settlement is given to place the cemeteries in context, as the majority now sit in rural localities.
Both booklets contain general conservation notes as a guide to repairing and conserving cemetery materials and discusses the symbolism used in the monuments.
