Bathurst Regional Council is moving forward in a new direction with the economic development and marketing of the Bathurst Region.

Under a coordinated new department, economic development, property development, tourism, Mount Panorama, special events, public relations and marketing have come together as an efficient business unit.

In 2006–07 a targeted Regional Marketing Plan will give the Bathurst Region the competitive edge and show that Bathurst really is the ideal place to live, work, study, invest and play.
