Bathurst Jobs Expo
There are lots of exciting opportunities to explore for people who are looking for a job, career change or wish to learn some new skills. The Bathurst Jobs Expo, in partnership with the Central Western Careers Advisers and sponsored by TAFE NSW, Charles Sturt University and B-ROCK.

Author Talk at the Library

Children’s Book Week
The Library in conjunction with Books Plus will feature the beloved children’s book character The Gruffalo at Children’s Book Week. There will be special storytime sessions from Wednesday 23 August to Friday 25 August with a colouring competition and prizes.
Best of all, the children will see and meet The Gruffalo in person at each storytime session.

Temporary Road Closures
Stanley and William Streets
The Bathurst Wallabies Triathlon includes the following temporary road closures:-
Sunday, 22 October, William Street between Charlotte Street and Stanley Street; and Stanley Street between William and George Street between 8.00am to 11.00am.
George Street Low Level Bridge
Gordon Edgell Bridge (George Street, Low Level Bridge) will be closed on Tuesday, 15 August between the hours of 10.00am and 11.30am for repair works to be undertaken on the water main. During this time, motorists are urged to utilise alternative roads, including Gilmour Street and the Great Western Highway.
