Bathurst Regional Council invites nominations for the 2011 Bathurst Region Event of the Year Award. The award provides an opportunity for those members of the community who have staged a community event in the past year to receive recognition for their work. The staging of a successful community event requires dedication and commitment which often goes unrewarded yet so many benefit from the event.
The award, which is recognized by the Australia Day council of NSW, will be presented on Australia Day, Thursday 26 January 2012, at the Machattie Park celebrations.
The winner of the 2011 Bathurst Region Event of the Year Award will be selected following the listed criteria. Nominations must be received at Council by 5:00pm Friday 6 January, 2012 for eligibility. The judge's decision is final.
