Public Access to Information |

Council has in place a Public Access to Information Policy.
The Local Government Act (1993) and other Acts of the NSW Parliament require Council to make certain documents freely available to residents upon request.
While Council makes every effort to ensure that these documents are the latest versions available, it is the responsibility of the reader to verify the accuracy of these documents with Council.
Section 12 of the Local Government Act (1993) states that everyone is entitled to inspect the current version of the following documents free of charge.

Council holds regular Ordinary and Policy Committee Meetings throughout the year. Below is a list of upcoming meetings. Members of the public are invited to attend Council and Policy Committee Meetings.
Council provides access to the reports presented to Council, at Ordinary, Extraordinary and Policy Committee Meetings, except for Confidential items.
To view electronic copies of these documents, visit Council Business Papers and Minutes. Copies of Council and Policy Committee papers are available for viewing at the Council Foyer or the Library.

Management Plan 2009/2013
Council on the 17 June 2009 adopted its Management Plan and Budget for the 2009-2013 period. These documents provide the direction and funding for the activities to be undertaken by Council over the next four years.

Better Practice Review Report |

In November 2007 the Department of Local Government undertook a review of Council under their Promoting Better Practice Program. The results of that program were presented to Council at its meeting held on 16 May 2007.
