The Bathurst Regional Access Committee (BRAC) is a community Committee which provides advice to Bathurst Regional Council and the broader Bathurst community on matters relating to safety and access issues.

The Department of Aging, Disability and Home Care provide opportunities for older people, people with disabilities and their carers, to lead independent lives and to participate fully in community life.

The Senior Citizens Centre provides weekly social activities for seniors in a relaxed and friendly environment. 

Glenray Industries Ltd is an organisation that caters for the residential, vocational and day program needs of more than seventy people with intellectual disabilities.

Since incorporation, Glenray has successfully moved from its sheltered workshop and hostel origins to become a provider of contemporary, quality services to the disabled.

Accommodation facilities include a hostel, 8 group homes and support to a number of people who live independently in the community.
