Council is actively involved in protecting the integrity of its natural surroundings, and is committed to assist in protecting the environment that we all share.
Since the amalgamation of Bathurst City and Evans Shire Councils, the environment now managed by Council includes habitats for the Copper Butterfly and the Koala in addition to endangered plants such as Zieria Obcordata.
