Little Scallywags is a child care service, designed to improve access to paid childcare and improve family work balance for employees of Bathurst Regional Council and the wider community was opened on Monday, 22 January 2007.
Little Scallywags is a child care service that will provide employees of Bathurst Regional Council access to child minding within the organisation.
At times there is restricted access to childcare for children aged 0-2 years and this new service ensures that staff are able to return to work early if they choose.
Council staff will have priority of access to the service. In the event places remain available they will then be made available to the wider community.
Community enquiries into available positions are welcome, with names being placed on a waiting list for follow up when places are available.
Little Scallywags is a small centre, licensed for up to 20 children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years and has been designed to create a home style child care environment.
The centre is accredited by the National Childcare Accreditation Council and is staffed with experienced trained child care professionals who devise programs that cater for the needs and interests of each individual child.
The Centre will be administered by Council who will also provide financial and management advice. |
