Residents and householders should be mindful that vegetation that looks 'right' may in fact be a declared noxious weed.

Upper Macquarie County Council (UMCC) is a noxious weeds Council, whose purpose is to control and eradicate noxious weeds in its area.

UMCC manages noxious weed control in the local government areas of:

• Bathurst Regional Council
• Blayney Shire Council
• Greater Lithgow City Council
• Oberon Council
